Web11 Feb 2024 · I carry a 340PD on my ankle. I'm unfamiliar with the M&P340, but it looks like it weighs 2oz (17%) more than the 340PD - the difference being the titanium cylinder. Also, the 340PD doesn't have an internal lock - which you may or may not care about. I replaced the fiber optic sight on my 340PD with an XS Big Dot, and installed an Apex j-frame kit.
