WebJun 22, 2024 · If you get a puncture in one the SelfSeal tires in the tread area as long as the hole is under 0.25 inch (I believe that is the limit, could be wrong) the tire will temporarily seal the leak. The tire should be repaired via a special Michelin cone shaped patch/plug (repair is done from inside the tire) as soon as possible.
