Web24 mrt. 2009 · It came with a 3mo./3000 mile "GM certified used" warranty. Shortly after the warranty expired, the hydroboost unit developed a nasty little leak. I found a thread on the recall that was issued, researched my truck, and found that my Hydroboost unit was inspected and cleared when the truck had 7,000 miles on it. A couple of questions: Web6 jun. 2016 · My solution was to replace the entire hydroboost unit. At first I was quoted 3,000 dollars just for the part. (that's what I get for living here in Craig Colorado where everything is a rip-off) I found it later for 1700 dollars new not counting labor. Instead I found a used unit with a guarantee for 600.
