WebWhat happens when you translate instead? hold shift and use the translate manipulator on the direction you dont want it to move along. Holding shift will allow the other two coordinates to move. For example...if i hold shift and drag the x axis it will actually lock x and only move along y and z. Its a nice shortcut to know. I hope it helps.
